As we are coming to then end of October, the leaves, as well as, more deer are falling for the Heavy Liftin crew. A few more doe tags were punched before the Heavy Lifters prepare for the rut. 

Daniel took this mature doe on October 19, with his Athens Accomplice bow.

The morning of October 21 produced this doe for Russell, which field dressed at 90lbs. Russell used a CVA Wolf .50 cal muzzleloader on his hunt.

October 13-14 is Kentucky's Youth Hunt weekend. After harvesting her first turkey this Spring, Kasey Thorn took her first deer today, this nice doe. A big congrats to Kasey.

The deer were moving on October 6, as Daniel and Dustin doubled up out of the same tree, 10 minutes apart. Though no shooter bucks were seen, bucks were beginning to chase which is a sure sign of good things to come. Check out the video below:

Russell lead off the 2012 deer season with this nice, mature doe
